Perhaps surprisingly, the Packers are not the ones adding a player to the injury report.Instead, the Bears have added defensive lineman Akiem Hicks and noted him as questionable for tonight game with a foot injury.This is particularly notable, as Hicks is by far the Bears’ best down lineman. Listed at 6’5” and 332 pounds, he is a perfect fit as a 5-technique end in the Bears’ 3-4 scheme. In his first season with the Bears last year, Hicks started all 16 games and recorded seven sacks, adding a pair of forced fumbles. He signed a four-year, $48 million contract extension earlier this month. So far this season he has two sacks in the Bears’ three games.If Hicks cannot play, the Bears’ depth chart lists first-year player Roy Robertson-Harris as his backup. That would also likely ease some of the pressure on the Packers’ tackles, a welcome sight for a team that has starters David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga listed as doubtful Malachi Dupre Jersey. If those two players are unable to suit up tonight, it would appear that Justin McCray and Adam Pankey would be the starters.Hicks is now the fifth Bears starter to show up on this week injury report.
