Along with the release of his First String All Stars and black sparkly converse an in-store appearance from Chaz Bojorquez , Converse is celebrating the grand opening of its new retail location in San Francisco today. This is Converse's fifth inline store and the fourth crafted by Jennifer Carpenter Architect, which should give you an indication of how well that group's designs have gone over. The magnificent 8200 sqft retail space is the One Star's largest, and with its location on Market Street in the heart of Union Square, the sizeable location is sure to attract huge numbers. Let's start with two new colorways on Kenny Anderson's first One Star signature, the CONS black white converse high tops KA-One Vulc Ox in red/blue and navy/white. They're joined by Sea Star Mids in black or Cranberry, the latter of which is a red shade we saw on the CTS Ox a while back, also Converse Basketball just lost Dwyane Wade, but their skateboarding division won't be blue and white converse stopped. The Cons CTS High Digi Red features an interesting red and black pattern on the canvas uppers.It looks like a cross between an 8-bit attempt at reproducing a pearlescent surface and snakeskin.They look great with a white midsole that encases a translucent,  CONS' inscribed outsole.

We haven't seen anything else from that promising preview in the intervening months, but could it be all that far away with word of this new pair hitting retailers? Kenny Anderson's Converse signature is back in a tonal black getup that's the night to the aforementioned pair's day, a classic yet cutting edge design that'd be perfect for everyday skate and style purposes.

And with that extensive legacy, the CONS KA-One has quite a lot to live up to. These lowtops seem to borrow heavily from the Nike SB Zoom Bruin , from the general shape all the way down to that distinctive tongue stitch. The first two colorways in tonal grey or black/white are timeless and just as easily could have released during KA's first stint with CONS, but we're glad they'll be available soon as part of the fall 2011 collection. via HS .Converse Skateboarding has been building serious momentum for a couple years now, and in their latest set of releases, we get the evidence that the success in expanding their footwear lineup has resulted in the ability for buy converse new internal organizations.

We've already seen low , mid and high skate versions of Converse's legendary Chuck Taylor All-Stars as well as another longtime favorite, the Weapon . Now we get a look at a mid-cut suede version of the Weapon that sports a vulcanized midsole and some extra padding in all the right places.
